A school uses family data for admissions, fees and transport, and each use needs a clear purpose. The DPDP Act requires a notice that lists the data and the purpose and explains how to withdraw consent, use rights and complain to the Data Protection Board.
In TrustOS each purpose links to its data categories, processing ground, retention period and responsible team. Notices are written in plain language, kept as versions and managed in English and any language in the Eighth Schedule. Every change is reviewed before it goes live.
